To power on the phone, simply press and hold the Power button located at the bottom of the device until you hear the voice say "Power on". If necessary, connect the handset to the base using the cord. Hang up handset and wait for approximately 30 seconds before picking up the handset again. Once you hear the greeting, the phone is now ready for use and guests can leave messages. *Important: If you do NOT hear any greeting then the phone is not powered on. The battery life of the phone ranges from 8 to 12 hours.
